I was having trouble getting a picture of Fridays eruption of Mount Saint Helens. This is the Steam and Ash plume that lasted for 24 min. The mountain had another eruption that lasted for 50 min on Saturday and a huge seismic movement right after. We are waiting for what may be a large eruption, but, they don't think it will me of the magnitude of the May 18th, 1980 event. The good news is that the winds are going to be moving the ash towards Yakima and not our area. We are still in a level 3, the highest level for volcanic activity. We are all just waiting to see what this mountain is going to do. After today, the clouds are supposed to cover the mountain, so, if it does do something, I hope it's done today!
