One year ago at this time, we were being spoiled with summer like weather. We were in the mid 70's, the yard looked great, most of the spring flowers had been in bloom for weeks or had already finished blooming. The grass was green, the fields were growing and the birds were making their nests.
What a year makes. This day, we were 37 deg. for our high. Snow had come to the Valley Floor and snow even fell in downtown Portland. Schools were closed or had a late start. Snow fell most of the day, off and on, but we never really had much more stay on the ground.
