Ok, OK...........

I have been getting a lot of guff from people saying I need to keep this thing up. I didn't even think anyone cared, but guess there are a few that stop by my knick of the woods from time to time. In case you didn't know, I turned 40 a few weeks ago. Man, I feel as if the 40 years just flew by! I was thinking the other day of all I have lived through in history. Man on the moon, Apollo 13, Reagan getting shot, the Pope getting shot. The Iran hostage crises. The shooting of RFK, MLK and John Lennon. So much death. So much life to. So many good things happend in 40 years. My trips to the beach every year with my Grams and Great Grandma. We stayed every year in the same hotel in Lincoln City. The trips to Disneyland, Hawaii, Sunriver trips. All have a special place in my memory. Some of my fondest memories revolve around the Christmas season. All my aunts, uncles and Grandparents would all meet at my Great grandma's house for gift's and good food. I really miss those days. It just seems like yesterday I was kissing her good night on Christmas eve and today, she's been gone for almost 20 years. Just does not seem possible.

I just hope I can make it another 40 years. Things in my life are going so well, I wouldn't want to miss a thing!!!!!!
This is one of my all time favorite pictures of Gramps and me.
don't look at me, rather look at Stan. Check out that grin!!!!!!
I think my Dad's thinking about the fact that he will soon be 60!!!!! (Just 8 more months!)
