Day one

Stan and Hailie left for Mt. Vernon today at 10:00am. Took hem about 5.5 hours to get there. Most of the team left this morning and they all met at the Safeway parking lot. Everyone wrote on there windows and left the parking lot honking and screaming. If pure spirit win games, then they will win for sure! We wont know when our first game is until the morning, but there is an opening ceremony tomorrow. Each team walks behind there flag and they all meat in the middle of a stadium. I will miss this, but cant wait to see the pictures! I will be posting them on the site as the week goes by. Leslie and I will be leaving tomorrow afternoon and arriving around 9:00pm. Nationals or Bust

The time has come to pack up and head off to Nationals and play some Softball. After weeks of fundraising and practice we are as ready as we can be. Stan and Hailie are heading off in the morning and Leslie and I will be heading out Monday night. Karen will be leaving on Wednesday. We made around $9,000.00 in just a few weeks. Can drives, Poker and mailers. Thanks to all that helped us make our goal. I will keep everyone updated as the week goes on.

Wildcats win 12U state title

Here are the State Champions for the 12 and under fast pitch softball. We went un defeated for the tournament and placed 1st! We one a berth to the National Championships, but we already had one from the National Qualifier a few weeks ago. We have been told that this is the best Team Canby has ever had. Good luck, Girls. You deserve to have it all!!!!
