WORK

Now, I'm not complaining, but getting up at 6:30am SUCKS!!!!!! Just kidding. I really am having a good time working again. Sometimes it seems as if I never stopped working! The job really is going well and I am really enjoying it. I am liking being able to use the skills I have learned over the years and am learning new things every day. I am looking forward to the days to come and hope every day has a challenge like the last few days have.

HAPPY EASTER!!

Hope everyone has a Happy Easter and can sit back and reflect of what the winter blues has brought into your life and shake it away. I know I have and am looking forward to returning back to work after a 20 month vacation. I guess most of it wasn't a vacation, but I know it will be hard to get back into the daily grind of the office. I really am looking forward to it though! I will have more to talk to than 3 cat's, 3 dogs and the fish in the Pond!
Easter time is the beginning of the Spring season, but we had an early spring this year and we are now paying for it with rain, wind and cold. A couple of weeks ago we were in the mid 70"s, but today, the wind will be around 45mph, the rain isn't to stop until sometime Monday and we are only going to be in the 50"s! AWH............ Spring in Oregon. What would the kids do during spring Break if it wasn't raining the whole time?
I hope everyone thinks of the joys in there life as we enter Spring, the time when life begins a new! As the flowers bloom and the trees shade the ever warming sun, sit back, have a glass of Iced Tea and enjoy.

YEA!!!!!!

Ok, enough is enough!!!!!!! I am no longer going to be the domestic goddess that I have been for the last 2.5 years. I start work in the IT department of the Portland Public Schools Monday as a contractor. I will be working with the phone switches and communications department! Thank you too all who have helped in my recovery and helped support me in finding who and what I am!!!!!

SPRING!!!!!

Today is the first full day of spring and the kids are all out of school for there break. We have been having spring since the first part of February and everything is in full bloom right now. Funny thing is, with spring here, the weather has taken a turn for the worse. We have had more rain in the last few days than we have had all winter! Of coarse, with the kids being out of school and this is Oregon, the weather is supposed to turn nice again when the school doors open for the rest of the year. Hope everyone has a wonderful spring and hope we all have a fantastic summer season!!!!

Still don't know anything on the job I interviewed for, they are still going over all the paper work. GRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!! 

Letting you know II............

I went to the School District in Portland yesterday and I think things went well. I will know if I get the job in 3-5 days. I don't want to talk to much about it, yet. I don't want to jinx it!!!!!! I will let you know what's going on as soon as I know. Wish me luck!

Letting you Know..........

I have been looking for a job, really any job for the last 3-4 months. Seems like no one has been hiring at all! I went for an interview here in town on Friday at a local communications company and things went very well. I received a phone call today to interview as a temp with the Portland school district at twice the money. Man, when it rains it pours! The communications company wants me to start NOW! I am going to talk with the contract company with the school district tomorrow to see what "Long Term" means. I have a feeling they cant guarantee anything, but I am going to see what they have to say. I will keep you informed of what is happening. Anyway, I will be starting a new job as early as next week!

We had ANOTHER party for Stan and Hailie with a side of his sister Diana's Birthday too. We have over a week of celebrating Birthday's and this was the final party. We had a BAR-B-Q for all three this last Sunday, March 6th. The weather was just fantastic, highs in the low 70's ( Yes, we are still in Winter) so everyone had just a wonderful time. Diane brought wonderful steaks, cake and pies. Berta brought her Meat Balls and Bruce and Diana brought his Famous potato Salad. I would like to thank everyone for coming and thank you all for helping clean up after. I went outside after you all left and there was nothing to clean! Thank you all for a wonderful time!

I almost forgot! Hailie had a Birthday on the 25th of Feb. and she spent the evening with us at the bowling alley! We went Cosmic Bowling and had Cake and she got all of her presents. She had a great time........ I think!

37th Birthday Bash

Stan's 37th Birthday was a huge success! He and I would like to thank Karen and Bob, Brandi and Garrett and her Boyfriend Kendall and Hailie and Leslie for coming over and celebrating with us. Hope you all have a fun time and see you all soon!
